Pauline Borczuch heads Mérimée Avocats’ corporate, M&A, and private equity practice.

With cross-disciplinary expertise in corporate law, she advises companies, investment funds, and executives, in France and abroad, on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

Before founding Mérimée Avocats in September 2021, Pauline Borczuch gained extensive experience in corporate law at prestigious French firms (Reinhart Marville Torre, CMS Francis Lefebvre, LL Berg) and Anglo-Saxon firms (Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP), in France and abroad.

She has an extensive network of experts (including chartered accountants, notaries, investment banks, and auditors) able to provide their expertise on short notice whenever a matter requires it.

Marion Moisan-Poissonnier heads Mérimée Avocats’ employment law practice.

Exclusively dedicated to this area since 2013, she handles both advisory and litigation matters, for companies and employees alike.

She supports employers in organizing their labor relations — collective bargaining (company-level agreements, relations with employee representatives), securing internal practices — as well as in managing individual and collective departures. Her extensive experience in labor court litigation gives her a genuine ability to anticipate issues, which she puts to work in managing risk upstream, with the goal of keeping her clients out of the courtroom.

She also regularly assists employees (in particular senior executives) in negotiating their departure, making sure to identify all rights that may be claimed and favoring a negotiated, measured approach before the relationship deteriorates into a dispute.

Before joining Mérimée Avocats as a partner in January 2024, Marion Moisan-Poissonnier gained her experience at several Paris law firms (most recently Wire Avocats) as well as within corporate HR departments.

Sarah Madi heads Mérimée Avocats’ intellectual property/IT law practice.

Sarah Madi has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2015. She handles both advisory and litigation matters in Intellectual Property and IT law. Her practice covers copyright, trademarks, designs, and unfair competition and parasitism. She also handles commercial litigation, right of publicity/image rights, advertising, digital, and e‑commerce matters.

Sarah Madi assists and advises a varied French and international clientele, with a focus on fashion, luxury, design, media and advertising, industry, and tech.

Before joining Mérimée Avocats, Sarah Madi gained extensive experience at several Anglo-Saxon law firms (Reed Smith and Simmons & Simmons) and well-known companies (Louis Vuitton Malletier).

She regularly leads training sessions on intellectual property law for young creators and entrepreneurs.

Sarah Madi is a member of several professional associations: the Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles (APRAM), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), Association Contemporaines, and the Association of European Attorneys (AEA).
